Andy Bates started his career in 1991 in Zurich. He worked in several areas including investment telesales. Andy then moved to Santander as a branch investment and mortgage advisor, where he remained until 2006. He then joined a Southampton based mortgage brokerage specialising in shared equity and shared ownership. In 2011, Andy left to set up a firm on his own which has now successfully evolved into Nu-Era Financial Services Ltd.
Annie Bates has been a mortgage adviser since 2002. Starting with telephone sales, she moved to work as a broker in an estate agency for 9 years. After this point, Annie joined forces with Andy and started to grow the business, which became Nu-Era Financial Services Ltd in 2015, with them as sole directors.
Annie’s speciality is to buy properties that are available for rent, houses of multiple occupancies and properties with short term lending. She is widely experienced in all aspects of lending.
